Refund Policy

1. Who sets the refund rules

Each event is run by an organiser. The organiser sets the refund policy for their event and discloses it to families at the point of registration. Events Lite enforces that policy automatically when refunds are requested or issued.

2. Policy options organisers can choose

• Full refund — refund any portion of paid entry up until a cutoff date.
• Partial refund — refund a defined percentage of the entry fee up until a cutoff date.
• No refund — entry fees are non-refundable once paid.

3. How fees behave on a refund

Stripe card processing fees are returned by Stripe on refunds. Events Lite platform fees reconcile accordingly on full and partial refunds, so the organiser does not absorb fees they have not earned.

4. Chargebacks and disputes

5. How to request a refund

Families should contact the organiser of their event directly in the first instance using the organiser contact details shown on their registration confirmation. If you cannot reach the organiser, email hello@events-lite.com and we will help.
